Description: The
City of Westminster, to me, resembles a factory production line, particularly in the way that people circulate around it.
Therefore details of a production line can represent the architecture
of the city. Based upon a film script
I wrote about my experiences in Westminster, I created a new form of
protest within the City of Westminster comprising of a barge-based,
plastic orb, production line. I then looked at the production line as a
metaphor for the City, and how its details were synonymous with the
architecture of a City. This led me to design a new type of theatre, which started out as an ambiguous detail from the production line.
